Last week, one Mountain Village woman allegedly assaulted a Village Police Officer with an ATV.

According to an Alaska State Troopers dispatch, Georgianna Hanson of Mountain Village drove an ATV into an oncoming ATV, which was being driven by a VPO. Hanson was arrested and charged with assault in the third degree for the ATV incident, and then assault in the fourth degree for allegedly assaulting a second VPO during her arrest.

Troopers say Hanson was on probation at the time for previously assaulting other individuals by using an ATV.

Hanson was arraigned in the Aniak courthouse on Friday. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 4th in Aniak.
