An arrest has been made after a burglary in Hooper Bay on Saturday (August 25).

39-year-old Jeffrey Gump of Hooper Bay was arrested after allegedly entering a home, threatening those inside.

Alaska State Troopers (AST) arrived on scene at 12:10 pm on August 25. The AST dispatch states an estimated $200 in damage was caused by the suspected unlawful entry.

Gump was arrested on Sunday (August 26) and remanded to Hooper Bay Public Safety. He has been charged with one count of burglary, one count of criminal mischief, and four counts of assault.

Arraignment is yet to be set. Troopers say alcohol was a factor in the incident.
