We’ve received top honors from the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), the Catholic Academy for Communication Arts Professionals (CACAP), the Alaska Broadcasters Association (ABA), and other media organizations, plus recognition from the State of Alaska, the City of Nome, and the Alaska National Guard.
CACAP has honored KNOM 19 times with their Gabriel Award for Radio Station of the Year; we received this distinction 16 years in a row between 1996 and 2011.
None of our awards – or the broadcasting we do every day – would be possible without your support. Whether you’re a donor, a volunteer, or a listener, we share each and every one of our awards with you. Thank you.
