Norton Sound Regional Hospital saw its first baby of the new year delivered in Nome yesterday morning.
Bella Aria Wyman was born to parents John and Jocelyn Wyman of Nome just before 10am on January 5th. Although she came several days after the start of 2020, Bella arrived a week ahead of her due date according to her mother Jocelyn.
Bella weighed six pounds, ten ounces and joins a happy Wyman family already comprised of two daughters. According to a release from Norton Sound, this is the second Wyman child to be born in Nome.
Dr. Matthew Dammeyer and RN Tracey Brown were on hand to assist with Bella’s birth.
