Approving the Fiscal Year 18 Food Services agreement and the second budget revision are the sole action items on the Nome Public School’s Board of Education agenda tonight.

The Board’s first regular meeting of July features two public comment periods, as usual, along with the superintendent’s report. Shawn Arnold, Superintendent for Nome Public Schools, is expected to discuss seven varied topics including a diversity survey, standard operating procedure, and student handbooks.

Tonight’s regular Board of Education meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30pm in the Nome Elementary School library.
