Three burglaries happened in the community of Emmonak last weekend. Alaska State Troopers say Emmonak’s clinic, Ryan Air office, and Department of Transportation building were all damaged in the incidents.
Sometime on Saturday night, the first incident occurred after the front door of Emmonak’s clinic was forced open and damaged. The clinic is still taking inventory to determine if anything was stolen.
Then, on Sunday, Alaska State Troopers received a report from Ryan Air indicating that their office and warehouse were broken into, causing damage to a window and the warehouse door.
Lastly, it was reported that a break-in occurred at the Department of Transportation building, located within the airport. The building’s garage door was damaged, but Troopers say nothing appears to have been stolen.
There is no evidence to support the notion that these three burglaries were connected, and currently, no suspects have been identified in any of the incidents.
Investigation into all three of these burglaries is still ongoing. Troopers encourage anyone with information to contact the Emmonak AST at (907) 949-1300.
