NSHC’s Board of Directors convened in Nome this week for their 47th annual meeting. Yesterday, the Board voted to keep Jacob Ivanoff as the Board Chair. Also, the NSHC Board unanimously approved a new three-year contract, which includes an increased salary, with President and CEO Angie Gorn.
Ambulance Service Agreement Reached Between NSHC and City of Nome

Nome’s ambulance department has a new arrangement with Norton Sound Health Corporation, a result of meetings and compromise between the NSHC administration and the City of Nome. It goes into effect May 1.
