“YOURS FOR WESTERN ALASKA”

Faith, Education, & Nutrition

Two women in dark red "Summercise" t-shirts smile at camera, sitting at a table inside KNOM studios, while displaying skillet with freshly-cooked egg scramble.

Recent visitors to KNOM have brought fresh nourishment for body, soul, and mind — for listeners and staffers alike.

Farewell, Father Thomas

Father Thomas Sagili departed Nome at the end of April; he’s been reassigned to elsewhere in rural Alaska. Remaining at St. Joseph Church, however, is Fr. Kumar Pasala.

All five KNOM volunteers are busy writing, producing and voicing exceptional radio programming. Eva DeLappe visited Nome’s Quyanna Care Center to cover the opening of the facility, […]

At year’s end, gratitude and service

As 2012 comes to an end, we thank the entire KNOM family for keeping positive programming beaming to thousands of families. Your support affects listeners across 100,000 square miles of snow-covered tundra and the frozen Bering Sea. The KNOM staff and volunteers appreciate the opportunity to serve remote listeners, 24 hours a day! We wish you […]
