Troopers Arrest Mountain Village Resident After Alleged Assault Against a VPO
According to an Alaska State Troopers dispatch, Georgianna Hanson of Mountain Village drove an ATV into an oncoming ATV, which was being driven by a VPO. Hanson was arrested and charged with assault in the third degree for the ATV incident, and then assault in the fourth degree for allegedly assaulting a second VPO during her arrest.

According to Troopers, the Western Alaska Alcohol and Narcotics Team (WAANT) found that David Fergerson was “in possession of and selling methamphetamine and heroin from his residence near a pre-school/daycare in Nome.”

According to Alaska State Troopers, Michael Hahn Jr. of Nome was driving a vehicle that rolled over at mile seven of the Council Highway on Tuesday evening. Troopers say the two passengers in Hahn’s vehicle suffered serious injuries and were medevac’d to Anchorage for medical care.

Alaska State Troopers contacted 29-year-old Norma Berry in Kotzebue on Friday evening. Berry had been charged with one count of importation into a dry community and one count of selling alcohol without a license in a dry community. She then failed to appear for arraignment in that case earlier this year.

Two warrants were out for Derek Kruger’s arrest. One was a $5,000 felony arrest warrant, which was issued by a court judge in Anchorage, and the second was for unlawful evasion in the 1st degree.
