Mountain Village Man Charged With Murder

State Troopers report Alexie Walters, 34, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder following the death of his girlfriend. Walters allegedly assaulted multiple people in Mountain Village before barricading himself inside his home with 22-year-old Gertrude Queenie, who was later found dead.

Alaska State Troopers in Aniak arrested Tiffany Ann Maillelle of Grayling on June 23rd on seven charges: attempted arson, two counts of assault in the third degree, and four counts of assault in the fourth degree.
