Guests share details on a longterm, ongoing project working to repatriate historical artifacts from the region scattered throughout the country in museums' collections.
Technology developments create opportunities to digitally document these artifacts and recreate them in 3D. Kawerak created an MOA with the University of Missouri to maintain data sovereignty for the region's tribes; co-creating the project in partnership with the university, while maintaining ownership of the Traditional Ecological Knowledge.
