For all four KNOM volunteers, our year of service is coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t enough time left to travel. Lauren and Tyler recently took some personal time to travel outside of Nome and have come back with less than a month left in their year-contracts.
In this week’s audioblog, Davis, Tyler, and Lauren discuss what it feels like to leave Nome for a short period of time and return right before their year of volunteering is up. You’ll hear about our changes in perspective, as well as an iconic “Davis Deep Dive” question, and Lauren starts us off by sharing a wealth of facts she knows about New Jersey.
