Aniak Man Charged with Burglary, Damage of Residence, Domestic Violence

Alaska State Troopers (AST) have made an arrest after an Aniak home was broken into Wednesday morning (August 1).

20-year-old Fredrick Morgan of Aniak was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and three counts of domestic violence.

An investigation by troopers determined the incident happened at about 1:42am on August 1st. According to an online AST report, Morgan allegedly broke into and caused damage to the Aniak residence. Details also claim Morgan placed several people “in fear of physical danger” at another location during the incident.

Morgan was remanded with no bail to the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center (YKCC) in Bethel.
