Happy July! It’s hard to believe we’ve already passed the summer solstice and are beginning to lose a few minutes of daylight each day. The change may seem small at first, but little things have a way of adding up—much like the kindness and generosity of friends like you.
This month, KNOM celebrates an exciting milestone: 55 years on the air! Since July 14, 1971, KNOM has been serving Western Alaska with faith, news, weather, music, and companionship. That remarkable legacy is only possible because of the support of listeners and donors like you.
To commemorate our 55th anniversary, we’ve created a limited collection of KNOM merchandise featuring some of our vintage logos. Many supporters have asked for ways to proudly share their connection to KNOM, and we’re pleased to offer these special items through our online store.
