Last month, I shared how often I use the word “humbled” when thinking about the kindness of our donors. This month, another word rises to the top: “grateful.” Thanks to your generosity and support, not only did we meet our fundraising goal, we surpassed it!
There truly aren’t adequate words to express our gratitude. So we’ll keep it simple and just say: thank you. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
I would also like to ask for one more thing: your prayers. Specifically, for Fr. Alphonsus Afina. As I write this, there have been no new updates. Fr. Alphonsus served as one of the priests in Nome when I first began at KNOM. He is a kind, soft-spoken man, and I was heartbroken to hear what happened to him.
Please continue to keep Fr. Alphonsus, and all of us at KNOM, in your prayers. We feel them. And we’re deeply grateful for them.
