Alaska State Troopers are investigating multiple incidents of burglary and criminal mischief in two Bering Straits region communities.

In Elim, Troopers received a report on Tuesday of an unoccupied dwelling being broken into. That same day, further northwest up the Bering Sea in Teller, Troopers responded to a report of vandalized vehicles. The damage on the vehicles is estimated to be $2,000.

On Wednesday, also in Teller, Troopers were informed of a burglary and items being stolen from a residence. Investigation into all three of these incidents, both in Elim and Teller, is currently ongoing.
