In this week’s audioblog, KNOM’s Davis Hovey talks about his recent trip to Fairbanks where he was an assistant coach participating in a Northern Area swim meet with the Nome NorthStar Swim Team.
Besides this three day trip, Davis has left Western Alaska one other time for his best friend’s wedding back in September.
Between those two major trips, Davis spent his time in Nome, like all volunteers do, without being exposed to any place or anything outside of the region.
