The sun has snuck its way back. It all seemed to happen so quickly that I often wonder if those dark days were just all imagined. Now, the sun rises at around 7 a.m. and sets just before 11p.m., making each day feel like a 2-for-1 deal.
When you allow light to dictate your days instead of a ticking second hand, possibilities seem endless. Even when it’s 7p.m., it feels like your day is just beginning. A combination of personal renewed energy, longer days, “warmer” temperatures and the stubborn remains of snow and sea ice have made March & April ideal months to get outdoors. I’ve made an effort to get out almost every day for a ski, and snapped a few pictures of Nome’s beauty to share with you. I’ll let them speak for themselves.
