Vickie Erickson says that, over the last few years, she has lost four dogs to musk ox attacks. During Erickson’s latest encounter with musk oxen on October 3rd, her family dog for six years, Bart, was killed.
Ambulance Service Agreement Reached Between NSHC and City of Nome

Nome’s ambulance department has a new arrangement with Norton Sound Health Corporation, a result of meetings and compromise between the NSHC administration and the City of Nome. It goes into effect May 1.
