Margaret: From Volunteer to Recruiter

Margaret DeMaioribus

Our newest staffer at KNOM is Margaret DeMaioribus, a volunteer alumna who’s returned to Nome, and our mission, to coordinate our current volunteer program, to reach out to our local community, and to recruit the next generation of KNOMers from colleges and universities.

As she departs for new horizons, longtime program director Kelly Brabec shares some of her reflections on what KNOM has meant over the years; it’s a mission, she says, that’s “formulated who I am today.”
