GCI Awards College Scholarships to Western Alaska Students

Eight students from eight communities in Western Alaska will receive $2,000 scholarships to cover college books and tuition.

According to a statement from Crowley, Gabe Smith of Nome, Keenan Sanderson of Ketchikan, and twin brothers Carlton and Kendrick Hautala of Kwethluk will receive $2,500 to go towards their tuition costs.
