Alaska Supreme Court Selects New Chief Justice

Justice Joel H. Bolger was selected by unanimous vote from all five supreme court justices, in accordance with Alaska’s Constitution. The Iowa born and raised justice was first appointed to the Alaska Supreme Court in 2013.

February 16, 1968 At the request of pioneer Alaska broadcaster Augie Hiebert, Washington, DC communications attorney Joseph Hennessey agrees to provide free legal assistance. Hennessey continues to help the mission at no charge through 1990.
