Troopers Investigating String of Burglaries in Emmonak; At Least Two Juveniles Are Suspects

State Troopers in Emmonak are investigating a series of criminal mischief incidents this weekend: two break-ins at the Emmonak Company Store and damage at the local AC store. At least two juveniles are suspects in the burglaries.

Incidents of “Criminal Mischief” in Elim, Teller This Week

In Elim, Troopers received a report on Tuesday of an unoccupied dwelling being broken into. That same day, in Teller, Troopers responded to a report of vandalized vehicles. On Wednesday, Troopers were informed of a burglary and items being stolen from a Teller residence.

Richard Hunt of Stebbins was believed to have committed more than one crime, including stealing an item from a residence he entered unlawfully. In St. Michael, multiple items with a value of approximately $200 were reportedly stolen from a local business, and one juvenile suspect is in custody.
