Lisa Haugen grew up in Golovin in Norton Sound area. She is the daughter of the late Bobby Amarok and Mary Kowchee. Lisa is married to Tony Haugen, Sr. of Unalakleet and they have raised 4 children. Lisa was previously with Bering Strait School District for 24 years.
Her advice to young adults—“Follow your dreams—they do become true!”
