Job Title: Data Specialist/Office Assistant
Hours: Part-time, 15-25 hours/week, flexible weekday schedule
Wage: $15-$18/hr, depending on experience and education
Location: Anchorage, AK (KNOM Business Office)
Reports to: Business Manager/Development Director

Job Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  2. Must possess effective communication, writing, organizing & record keeping skills.
  3. Experience in Catholic fundraising and/or Catholic missions preferred.
  4. Ability to support KNOM’s mission and values.
  5. Affinity for rural Alaska.
  6. Must maintain donor confidentiality.
  7. Demonstrated integrity and attention to detail, must be able to adhere to internal controls, and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  8. Experience in bookkeeping/accounting a plus.
  9. Ability to read cursive handwriting.
  10.  Must pass background check.

Brief Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Sort KNOM mail.
  2. Post donations to online database in efficient and timely manner.
  3. Merge-print and mail thank you letters per KNOM development policies.
  4. Direct communications requiring specialized attention immediately to appropriate staff.
  5. Assist in identifying fundraising and donation trends and needs.
  6. Maintain database accuracy.
  7. Prepare special projects as directed.
  8. Other duties as assigned.
