Job Opening: Development Technician
Job Title: Development technician
Hours: Temporary, part-time, 20 hours/week, up to 40 during peak seasons
Wage: $18-20, depending on experience and education
Location: Anchorage, AK (KNOM Business Office)
Reports to: Development director
Closing date: Applications reviewed on receipt
The development specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of KNOM's fundraising response as prescribed by the development director.
Job Qualifications:
- Demonstrate effective communication, writing, organizing, attention to detail, and record keeping skills
- CRM experience preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to support KNOM's Catholic mission and values
- Maintain donor confidentiality
- Appreciation for rural Alaska
- Ability to read cursive handwriting a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Brief Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and sort KNOM mail
- Post donations to online database in efficient and timely manner
- Merge-print and mail thank you letters per KNOM development policies
- Direct specialized attention immediately to appropriate staff
- Assist in identifying fundraising and donation trends and needs
- Maintain and update benefactor records, protect donor confidentiality
- Prepare special mailings as directed
- Assist in office operations, including supply inventory and procurement, filing, and general office duties
- Other duties as assigned
