Dave Emmert is a radio host, producer and music curator. 

Dave has a deep passion for the mission of community radio and understands its importance to the rural communities of Alaska. In addition to supporting the KNOM team, he is an active member of the Alaska broadcasting community working with Alaska Public Media, KNBA, Music Alaska/ AKIMI and KCAW in various capacities and hosts several radio programs. He also owns a podcast production and marketing group, Championship Industries. 

Dave has lived Anchorage for several years. He started his professional career in radio in NYC working with CBS Radio NY, East Village Radio, WFMU, WNYC/ NY Public Radio and The Blaze Radio Network. He continued to KXT in Dallas and KCAW in Sitka before moving to Anchorage. 

When Dave is not in a studio or station, he is rebuilding old mopeds, reading or listening to the radio.
