On Monday, January 19th, at 2pm and again at 6pm, join KNOM in celebrating Martin Luther King Day.
Though it was one of the most challenging and controversial chapters of his career, the final year of Dr. King’s life has not been the focus of significant public attention. “King’s Last March,” a one-hour American Radio-Works documentary, uses a rich mix of archival tape, oral histories and contemporary interviews to paint a vivid picture of this important time.
This dramatic and illuminating documentary is produced by American Public Media in cooperation with the Martin Luther King Jr. Research and Education Institute at Stanford University.
