Written about and inspired by their lives in Elim, Alaska, students from Catherine York’s English & Language Arts classroom have voiced their own original works for KNOM airplay.
Featuring reflections on subsistence activities, family gatherings, and personal triumphs, these students share that there is much to be thankful for while living in Western Alaska.
KNOM’s Restorative Remarks is a feature program that adapts inspirational messages by Western Alaskans, for Western Alaskans, for radio airplay.
