Vera Eggerman, Former Emmonak Resident, Joins Sitnasuak Applied Technologies

A former resident of Emmonak has joined the leadership of Sitnasuak Applied Technologies. Vera Eggerman started as proposal manager for the company earlier this month.

Eggerman has worked in business development and marketing for over two decades. She was formerly employed by several Alaska Native Corporations, including Bering Straits Native Corporation, Calista and Arctic Slope Regional Corporation.

In a press release from Sitnasuak, Eggerman had some advice for young people in the region. She urged them to “push themselves beyond their capabilities and view challenges as opportunities.”

Sitnasuak Applied Technologies is based in Anchorage and owned by Sitnasuak Native Corporation. It provides technical services and engineering solutions for clients including the Department of Defense and other federal agencies.

As proposal manager, Eggerman will oversee all applied technologies company proposals.
