In the volunteer house, Josh is our whimsical decorator, that is, he’s the artist that has drawn and created various artwork that now adorns my bedroom door. For some reason, over the past four months it seems to be have gradually become the “it” place where his work is now displayed (as well as other random pictures and memorabilia that I’ve gathered so far for my time here). My door is situated at the top of the stairs, the first door to pass on the way down the hall – what better place to showcase his various pieces?
Josh has made it a tradition to create his art at the KNOM station during his Late Afternoon show, which runs from 4-7pm. KNOM Update News plays at 5pm, and when I’m finished reading the news, I rush into Studio A to print out the current weather conditions to read Live. Since December, Josh has been kindly printing out the currents for me as well as drawing special pictures that correspond to the evening’s stories.
