Emily Robinson, 17, took home the victory for the Knik 200 Joe Redington Sr. Memorial Sled Dog Race.

She reached the halfway point, one minute behind 2023 Iditarod Champion Ryan Redington, who is the grandson of the race’s namesake. Then, during the night, Emily and her team of nine dogs took a 20 minute lead and finished first in the race on January 5th at 6:31 am. This is her second time winning the Knik 200. She also won the smaller Knik 100 sled dog race a week earlier.

Robinson plans to race in the 2025 Junior Iditarod set for February 22nd.
