Iron Dog restarts in Galena after pause

The Iron Dog 2023 race restarted in Galena at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 and saw the 15 remaining teams begin to move southbound toward the finish at Big Lake.

The leaders in this year’s Iron Dog race left Galena today, Feb. 23, just after 11:15 a.m. and are now headed toward Ruby. Team 7 of Tyler Aklestad and Nick Olstad hold onto a very tight leading advantage.
