Nome Man Dies in Fatal Stabbing

A Nome man died in the hospital yesterday, Thursday June 18, after sustaining multiple stab wounds.

According to the Nome Police Department, police responded to a call on the 400 Block of East 3rd Street at around 2AM on Thursday where they found 37 year-old Benjamin Milton bleeding from his wounds. The Nome Volunteer Ambulance Department took Milton to the Norton Sound Regional Hospital where he later died of his injuries.

As of Friday morning, the police have not reported any arrests.

The Nome Police and Medical Examiner’s Office are still investigating the incident. This is a developing story.
