I enjoyed listening to her story in her words. Thank-you for having her recorded.

Lighthearted and interesting, I hope she turns her diaries into books, preservation for future generations of Inupiat of a point in time before computers, running water, etc. I often listen to ‘Elder Voices’ and find them interesting, worth a listen each time.

MaryJane, you’re a treasure. Thank you for reaching out to me, your long-distance half-Eskimo cousin who knows so very little of my Eskimo family. I’m happy to hear how your uncle Wilbur inspired you in your artwork. You’ve shared so much with me; you’re a real blessing!
