Suspect Charged After Money Stolen from St. Mary’s AC Store

A suspect has been charged after money was stolen from St. Mary’s AC store over the weekend.

After an Alaska State Troopers investigation, 28-year-old Rebecca Elia of St. Mary’s was identified as allegedly having taken an estimated $200 from the store.

Troopers were contacted about the incident around 1:21pm on Sunday, Nov. 11. After investigation, AST charged Elia with theft and criminal simulation and submitted those two charges to the Bethel District Attorney.
