Mason Andrews just broke three world records. Not only is he now the world’s youngest pilot to have successfully circumnavigated the globe, but he’s also the youngest to have crossed the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans alone. Before arriving home in Louisiana last Saturday, October 6, one of Mason’s last stops was Nome. I got a chance to sit down with Mason on September 28.

Check out KNOM’s profile on Mason to hear more on what inspired his mission, what he encountered along the way, and what’s next for the young pilot.

You can donate to Mason’s mission here or donate to MedCamps of Louisiana, the organization to which he dedicated his flight. You can follow him on Facebook here.
