Most Improved Reporter

This year’s Iditarod “Most Improved Musher” Award went to Richie Diehl for bettering his most recent finish by the most number of places. Many congratulations to Richie for that well-deserved win!

But I’m actually here to talk about another person who has seriously bettered their game this race season. In this week’s audioblog, may I humbly offer myself in consideration for “Most Improved Reporter.”

After all, when I first started at KNOM I came with no reporting or deejaying experience! But now with two race seasons under my belt, I’ve surprised even myself at how I’ve learned to grow and adapt to the challenges that come along the way.

To hear my reflection on covering dogsled and snow machine races for two years for KNOM, listen above!
