First-year volunteer Gabe Colombo took the lead organizing, rehearsing, and conducting the Nome Community Chorus in its annual Christmas concert last month.

Throughout the year, Gabe has been contributing to the music ministry at Nome’s St. Joseph Catholic Church, too. On Christmas, he led music for three services, including Midnight Mass.

The KNOM volunteer program has brought outstanding college graduates to serve Western Alaska for nearly a half-decade. Know someone who might be interested? Applications are currently being accepted for the 2018-2019 service year. Learn more right here at knom.org.
