Winner of AFN’s Elder of the Year in 2008, Peter Jacobs spoke with KNOM in Yup’ik for a special episode of Elder Voices.

Peter shared a couple notes, life instructions, in English prior to his interview. First instruction from very early in life: LOVE. Love your neighbors, love your peers. If someone is mean to you, leave them. Second instruction: Care for your elders.
