Meet the New GM

As of this month, KNOM has a new general manager. Margaret DeMaioribus is taking over for outgoing GM Ric Schmidt, who retires on June 30.

Margaret, originally from eastern Pennsylvania, brings to her new position the same dedication and energy she’s brought to all her work at KNOM — as a volunteer, as outreach coordinator and as news director — as well as her former service at Maggie’s Place, a home of hospitality for pregnant women in Cleveland, Ohio.

About her new role, Margaret says:

“What a privilege and honor to follow in the footsteps of Ric Schmidt and Tom Busch. I am grateful to you for your generosity and support. KNOM wouldn’t be where we are today without you. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, and please keep me in prayer.”
