Unalakleet Man Arrested after Four-Wheeler Crash Last Week

A Unalakleet man has been taken into custody after a four-wheeler accident that occurred in the community on Thursday, May 4th.

24-year-old Ransom Bradley III of Unalakleet had been driving 24-year-old passenger Kevin Bradley of Unalakleet when the vehicle crashed at Powers Creek, three miles north of the community.

Alaska State Troopers received a report of a death at 5:30 am on Thursday, May 4th, and upon arrival found passenger Kevin Bradley deceased near the crash site. Troopers report that the driver Ransom Bradley was not on-scene when they arrived. He was located in an outbuilding in Unalakleet and was transported to the local clinic for evaluation.

Airport Police and Fire in Anchorage arrested Ransom Bradley Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. on an outstanding warrant for manslaughter and a DUI related to the incident.

Bradley is being held on bail set at $1,000 and will be arraigned at the Nome Courthouse on May 23rd.
