Volunteers, News Staff Earn Nods at 2017 Alaska Press Club Conference

On KNOM's digital studio dedication day, volunteers Karen, Lauren, Tyler, and Davis are gathered in the KNOM lobby.

We’re happy to announce that KNOM Radio Mission — in particular, its intrepid volunteers! — took home three awards and shared credit on a fourth at this weekend’s annual gathering of the Alaska Press Club.

The 2017 AK Press Club recognized KNOM’s work in these categories:

Congratulations to the award recipients, and many thanks to the listeners, readers, and supporters who make KNOM’s work possible, day in and day out.

Our 2015-2016 volunteers: Maddie Winchester, Emily Russell, Laura Kraegel, and Mitch Borden.
