We’ll be taking an audio rich tour of the daily meal provided by the XYZ Senior Center in Nome. Listen in to find out what goes in to deciding the ‘Chef’s Special’ each Friday – including a little speculation as to what it will be that particular day – as well as hear why elders come to the XYZ Senior Center time and time again.
Dearest Alaska is an experimental audio project; the program will be available on this website and broadcast live on the first Saturday and Sunday of every month at 12noon and 5pm on KNOM (96.1 FM, 780 AM).
