Adjustments, Adjustments, Adjustments

All four volunteers come from four different places within the lower 48 and have never lived in Alaska before. Living in Nome, however, is quite different than living anywhere else in Alaska. Because of its uniqueness, moving to Nome and living there for an extended period of time requires some adjustments…

Karen, Lauren, Tyler, and Davis discuss some of the ways they’ve had to adjust personally, socially, and mentally in order to feel at home here in Nome. They share some fond memories about the 4th of July celebrations, holding dead beavers, and camping out in the great outdoors!

Enjoy! (And don’t mind the energetic ending.)
