On this month’s Dearest Alaska, we are waking up early to join Erica Pryzmont, the owner and head chef of Pingo Bakery Seafood House, as she makes pastry dough.
Pryzmont routinely wakes up early to begin making the dough that becomes the bread and pastries her restaurant is known for. Pryzmont enjoys the routine and peacefulness that mixing dough provides her with. It was a special treat to accompany her through this process and I hope you enjoy this installment of Dearest Alaska.
Dearest Alaska is a new audio project; the program will be available on this website and broadcast live on the first Saturday and Sunday of every month at 12noon and 5pm on KNOM (96.1 FM, 780 AM).
If you or someone you know would like to participate in an episode of Dearest Alaska, please contact KNOM at 907-443-5221 or dearest.alaska@knom.org.
