In the fourth episode of Dearest Alaska, we are riding around the Nome area with Richard Beneville.
For years, Richard has operated Nome Discovery Tours, through which he takes patrons on a driving tour of Nome and its surrounding landscape. Richard provides a fun-filled day while ensuring that he gives as much historical context to the sights that he shows those on the tour.
Dearest Alaska is a new audio project; the program will be available on this website and broadcast live on the first Saturday and Sunday of every month at 12noon and 5pm on KNOM (96.1 FM, 780 AM).
