Good news: some of our elder supporters may be able to reduce their taxable income for 2013.
Individuals 70 ½ years or older who are required to withdraw a minimum distribution from their IRA can instead instruct their financial manager to make a distribution directly to KNOM, thus reducing taxable income. (Be sure to check with your accountant to see if your gift would qualify.)
