Meet Emily

Emily BieniekKNOM volunteer music director Josh Cunningham has finished his year of service to KNOM. Picking up where Josh left off is our newest volunteer, Emily Bieniek. At his last staff meeting, Josh expressed how grateful he was for the opportunity to serve through KNOM – and how confident he was that Emily will carry forward the attitude, ideals, and spirit that make the KNOM volunteer experience so special.

Emily is the new KNOM music director. She’ll deejay 4 to 7 pm Monday through Friday and act as co-host for the Friday Fist Pound Show, featuring co-host Tuesona Tungwenuk. Tuesona’s sensibility and spirit inspire everyone, especially all of us who work at KNOM.

You would be so proud of the KNOM staff. They respect each other and work cohesively, always with a mission-minded dedication to serve each of our listeners. At each weekly staff meeting, we offer prayers and good thoughts for the intentions of the entire KNOM family.
