“YOURS FOR WESTERN ALASKA”

Positive momentum

Western Alaska saw record heat, and then the rains came. The ice has finally left the beaches and off-shore waters. Summer is here!

Nonprofit organizations of our size have seen a drop in donations of about 9% this year. KNOM was no different – until we asked for prayers and help with our finances. The response from KNOM supporters in the last several months has been amazing! Between our cost-cutting moves and your generous help, KNOM is able to stay on the air and plan for a bright future.

Everyone at KNOM is constantly looking for ways to save budget funds, including performing extra duties to cut down on expenses. We share these ideas at weekly staff meetings, and everyone is enthusiastically embracing the challenge to balance the budget. We thank all of KNOM’s supporters.
